There are a lot of violin teachers in the area. So why should you choose me?

The answer is impeccability. Every lesson, I strive to do my absolute best – and a little bit more – so that the student can do their best and a little bit more. As a comparatively small studio, I am very selective in the students I take on. I require prospective parents and students to observe a lesson and ask any questions they may have.

I started taking Suzuki violin lessons at four years old. I received my Bachelor of Music with Performance Honors from Syracuse University and my Masters of Music from The Boston Conservatory.

I moved to Chicago in 2005 and founded Third Floor Suzuki Violin in 2010 with the intent of providing high quality violin instruction in the Ravenswood area. While taking lessons, children as young as 4 years old learn life skills such as focus, discipline, patience and teamwork.

I am a fully trained Suzuki teacher and registered with the Suzuki Association of the Americas to teach Volumes 1-10.
