CBA served Chicago's north and northwest neighborhoods for over 34 years before moving to Evanston, IL in the fall of 2020. In addition to its long standing Preparatory and Pre-Professional Divisions, the school now includes two performance ensembles and Enrichment and Adult Divisions, which provide expanded offerings for a range of dancers, ages 2 and up. The Pre-Professional Division has been recognized for its Balanchine-influenced curriculum and features live musical accompaniment. CBA alumni have gone on to prestigious university dance programs and professional dance careers and its current students are accepted into some of the country’s top summer intensives each year. A unique and distinctive feature of Boitsov Classical Ballet School (BCBS) is that the program is long-range. Students start at age 3½ and finish college age as a Professional Ballet Dancer! Strengths of BCBS is not only its unique program but also the qualifications, expertise and experience of our faculty and staff. One special aspect about BCBS is the individual monitoring of every student's progress from the age they start. This special attention will help the student to make the future decision as to whether or not she or he would like to become a professional ballet dancer.

To find the proper level/grade and schedule, each student must pass a Trial/Placement class to be enrolled into the school.

To schedule a Trial/Placement Class, you must first complete a short call so we can learn more about your child and provide you with information about the school. The Trial/Placement Class will be scheduled during or after the call.

For the Trial/Placement class, students should wear a t-shirt, shorts and socks or clothing that allows movement without hiding body shape (no sweatpants).

If a student has a ballet uniform from prior training, he/she may use it for the Trial/Placement Class.

The school has specific uniform requirements for every class and this will be explained in full detail after the Trial/Placement Class.

Tuition is based on an annual basis and pro-rated by 12 for the monthly rate.

Tuition is determined individually for each class and is based on class level, time length and frequency.

Tuition is due on or before the 1st of each month. Please note: you have a grace period until the 5th of each month. If tuition is received after the 5th, your account will incur a late fee of $25.

Acceptable forms of payment are: personal check, cash, money order or Zelle Pay.

We offer family rates for families with 2 children or more enrolled.
